So it is 4:22 in my part of the world and about ready to start hitching etc… for the ±500mile stretch south to Marco Island. This trip has mixed feelings since we all love Marco, however, it does sort of spell then end of an adventure. Anyway, will keep you all updated on our progress…

We left at 5:20 in the dark, and shortly after crossing the Georgia state line (in the dark, so there is no pic of the welcome board!!) we experienced a “moving” sunrise…

We continued and made the first of many P-stops since the RV loo was officially “out of business” due to the impending storage!

Then shortly after the “great relief” it was time for Florida to welcome us back…

Shortly after we crossed the 6000 mile mark on the odometer…

So the miles whizzed by beneath Suzie’s travel shoes and took us past… wait for it… the town of Waldo! Much of the miles were done on Waldo Road!

THE SIGN!

Soon we saw the road markers to Marco Island, and sooner than expected we were back where the adventure started. Unpacking the RVs took the weary travellers just over an hour, moving house to house and dreading the time when the contents of an RV has to fit into 4 suitcases! Then it was off to the storage where Amy & Suzie were (sadly) put to hibernate until the next engine startup.
